Affordable Party Rentals: Terms and Conditions


Condition and Availability of Rentals


Affordable Party Rentals guarantees that all items listed on this contract's invoice will be ready for use and in good working condition on your scheduled event date.

Payment Policy


The full balance of the rental cost must be paid on the day of the event, before you take possession of the equipment. We accept Visa, Master Card, Discover, and American Express. If you choose to pay by check, a credit card is still required to be on file to cover potential damages or returned checks. Any returned checks will incur a $25 service fee.

Renter Responsibility, Loss, and Damage


The Renter assumes full responsibility for all rental items once they are delivered. Your liability for lost or damaged items will not exceed the potential replacement value of the equipment.

If items are returned in a condition requiring more than normal cleaning (such as damage from wax, ink, or excessive dirt), the Renter is responsible for the cost of professional cleaning or specialized maintenance, the provider of which will be selected by Affordable Party Rentals.

The Renter acts as the sole custodian of the equipment for the duration of the Rental Contract and is responsible for any injury, damage, or loss that the items may cause to themselves or a third party. The Customer agrees to mitigate all costs resulting from such incidents caused by their negligence or improper handling. Affordable Party Rentals is not liable for any accidents resulting from the misuse of its rental equipment.

Cancellations and Order Changes


Once an order is placed, the equipment is reserved exclusively for your event, preventing us from renting it to others. Therefore:

Any order canceled within 7 days of the scheduled delivery date will be billed the full rental price for all reserved items.

Custom-ordered linens are non-refundable and cannot be canceled after the order is placed.

A fee will be charged for any reduction in item quantities requested within 14 days of the event.

We will make every effort to accommodate requests to increase quantities or add new items.

Tents and Weather Policy
Securing necessary tent permits is the responsibility of the client, unless otherwise noted in this contract. Affordable Party Rentals retains the right to cancel any tent reservation in the event of severe weather or if we believe the safety of the equipment or users is at risk. In such a case, the Renter will not be charged.

Care of Linens and Dishes
Linens: They will be delivered in good condition. The customer will be charged for any damage, including but not limited to tears, burns, ink stains, or indelible marks, that makes the linen unusable. Please shake out all linens to remove loose food, but do not launder them. Never place wet linens inside plastic bags.

Dishes: All dinnerware must be scraped and rinsed free of food before being returned or picked up. They do not need to be washed in a dishwasher, but they must be clean enough to go straight into our washing process. A fee will be assessed if dishes are returned with food debris.

Delivery and Site Access
Affordable Party Rentals agrees to deliver and pick up the items at the event location on the agreed-upon date. We have the right to enter the property for delivery and subsequent retrieval. The Customer must notify us in advance of any special access challenges, such as steep driveways, limited site access, or required use of stairs.

Set Up and Take Down Services
As a complimentary service, Affordable Party Rentals includes free set up and take down for most equipment. This free service does not apply to linens, dishes, or lighting. To qualify for free service, the event location must have ground floor access and be located within 100 feet of an accessible drop-off point. If these conditions are not met, additional labor charges will apply OR items will be dropped off at the closest access point and must be stacked there again for pickup. A responsible person must be present during delivery to direct our crew for placement.
